An All American Christmas

Once again we’re at the Numerica Performing Arts Center for another very special evening from the Columbia Chorale featuring American holiday classics including familiar carols and a focus on music of the season written by American composers.

The concert will include medleys of familiar songs by Irving Berlin and Alfred Burt, old standards such as The Little Drummer Boy, Sleigh Ride, and Do You Hear What I Hear. Also, a fresh new setting of I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day, and an arrangement of Jingle Bells by our own Ron Lodge.

The regionally-known brass ensemble, the Leavenworth Christmas Brass, will again be on hand to perform, as will the Columbia Vocal Ensemble, eight voices from within the Chorale. The vocal ensemble will present new arrangements of We Three Kings and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

All this and more! We will be joined by an 18 piece orchestra for a portion of the concert. You will not want to miss this very special evening of American Choral Christmas classics!
