Good News!..Songs of Africa-America

  • Grace Lutheran Church

Songs of Africa-America will be the theme of this Official 2017 Washington State Apple
Blossom Festival event featuring spirituals and other music influenced
by the African-American experience. Local voice instructor/soprano
Leslie McEwen will join the Chorale as a featured soloist. Concert will
be held on Friday, April 28 at Grace Lutheran Church in Wenatchee
beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Voices and strings

  • Grace Lutheran Church

The Columbia Chorale will partner with the Wenatchee High School
Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Beth Jensen, to present
works from three musical time periods: Baroque, Romantic and 20th-
Century. Featured works are the lyrical Mass in G by Franz Schubert,
the energetic and lively setting of the Credo by Antonio Lotti and the
lush, dynamic Magnificat by Gerald Finzi. Concert will take place
Saturday, March 4, 7:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Wenatchee.

Christmas with the Columbia Chorale

  • Numerica Performing Arts Center

Once again we’re at the Numerica Performing Arts Center for another
very special evening of holiday music from the Columbia Chorale.
Classics, familiar tunes and beloved carols of the season will be
featured. The regionally-acclaimed brass quartet, the Leavenworth
Christmas Brass, will also be on hand to perform. The Friday,
December 16th concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Fun, Folk & Film!

Fun, Folk & Film! will be the theme of this official 2016 Washington State Apple Blossom Festival event featuring folk songs, novelty numbers and music from the big screen!  Our audience will have two concerts to choose from including Friday, April 29 at Saddlerock Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a Monday, May 2nd presentation at the Snowy Owl Theater in Leavenworth.  Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

Featuring vocal & orchestral music by three German composers (Mendelssohn, Brahms and Beethoven) in a very special collaborative concert with the Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra.   The Brahms Schicksalslied, Op. 54 (Song of Destiny) and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 (Choral Symphony) will be the featured combined works in two identical concerts: Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
